How to Change any of the sounds on the iPhone on Such A site

This page is a summary of the events for which you can customize sounds. This includes new mail, text messages, reminders, calendar notifications, and even have specific sounds for specific people who are in your contacts.

How to change the sounds on the iPhone for incoming calls, new text messages, new mail, etc.

 

A.*** To customize Sounds of your

ringer/incoming calls:

 

B.*** to change and customize the sound for the event new text message coming in

 

C.*** To change the sound of the reminder  

 

D.*** To change the calendar alert, which might be important to you

 

E.***New mail and new Facebook alerts and all other sound changes for sound alerts of events, do the same as the above three but choose that selection instead.

 

Beginning of Instructions:

 

A.** To customize Sounds of your ringer/incoming calls:

 

1.                Go to setting option/app/program

2.                Flick left to right and go to sound and double tap.

3.                Flick left to right and go to ring tone and tap twice

4.                When done listening, flick left to right to next one and double tap one finger.

5.                Keep doing this until you go through the list of sounds double tapping on each and listening to each one,

6.                Don’t forget the list below the classic heading, the tones and sounds in that section are longer and sometimes nicer.

7.                if nothing appears below the word classic, double tap on the word “Classic” and then the list should appear below it

8.                Do the same with the extended Classic list.  Double tap on each of them and listen to hear what one suits your mood at the moment.

9.                If you want to hear again one you past already, just flick right to left to go back to the item and double tap on that one again.  I tend to listen a couple of times to pick the one I want. 

10.             Do not worry that after you double tap on it, the word: selected” appears next to it. That just means it is the one you are listening to at that very moment.

11.             if you back out of this menu/option with that sound or tone still being the selected item, it will then be your sound for this event. 

12.             when you do decide on one you like, double tap on the “sounds back” item and it will take you back “ONE LEVEL “then you can pick another event such as reminders or text messages and so on.

 

B *** To make change and customize the sound for “A New Text Message Coming In

 

1.      Go to setting option/app/program

2.      Flick left to right and go to sound and double tap.

3.      Flick left to right and go to Text or it may be changed to messages in the future, and tap twice

4.      When done listening, flick left to right to next one and double tap one finger.

5.      Keep doing this until you go through the list of sounds double tapping on each and listening to each one,

6.      Don’t forget the list below the classic heading, the tones and sounds in that section are longer and sometimes nicer.

7.      if nothing appears below the word classic, double tap on the word “Classic” and then the list should appear below it

8.      Do the same with the extended Classic list.  Double tap on each of them and listen to hear what one suits your mood at the moment.

9.      If you want to hear again one you past already, just flick right to left to go back to the item and double tap on that one again.  I tend to listen a couple of times to pick the one I want.

C *** To change the sound of the reminder

 

1.      Go to setting option/app/program

2.      Flick left to right and go to sound and double tap.

3.      Flick left to right and go to reminders and tap twice

4.      When done listening, flick left to right to next one and double tap one finger.

5.      Keep doing this until you go through the list of sounds double tapping on each and listening to each one,

6.      Don’t forget the list below the classic heading, the tones and sounds in that section are longer and sometimes nicer.

7.      if nothing appears below the word classic, double tap on the word “Classic” and then the list should appear below it

D *** To change the calendar alert, which might be important to you:

 

1.      Go to settings and down to sounds and double tap.

2.      Go to calendar alerts and tap twice.

3.      Go through the list of sounds double tapping on each and listening to each one, when done, just go to the next tone and double tap.

4.      Don’t forget the list below the classic heading, if nothing appears below the word classic, double tap on it and then the list should appear below it

5.      Do the same with the extended list.  Double tap on each of them and listen to hear which one suits your mood at the moment.

6.      If you want to hear one you past already, which I always do, just go back to the item and double tap on that one again.  I tend to listen a couple of times to pick the one I want.

                                                                        i.     Do no    t worry that after you double tap on it, the word: selected” appears next to it. That just means it is the one you are listening to and if you back out of this menu/option it will then be your sound for this event. when you do decide on one you like.

7.      Double tap on the “sounds back” item and it will take you back “ONE LEVEL “then you can pick another event

8.      If you are done with changing everything as far as alerts for events at this point, Double tap on “Settings Back” and it will take you back one level which is the first screen of the Settings part of your I Phone.

9.      If you want to be totally done with changing all the things, close the Settings part of the I Phone.
